You get to go on a fishing expedition with Jimmy, Cody, Steven, and Richard, who may come across as a bit too friendly, at least that was our impression.

The setting is idyllic enough though, with trees in the mountain side being reflected in the calm lake. The stage is set for some big catches in other words, and they come in the form of golden lure prizes being collected by 3 different collect symbols. They can multiply the total win, or add extra prize symbols via a respin, and a jackpot feature can also be collected. You get more of everything in the bonus round, and the grand jackpot and overall max win is 5,000x your stake.

The premium character symbols pay between 5 and 10 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and you also get Wild symbols that step in for any pay symbol to help complete and/or improve wins.

Review Summary

We enjoy a cozy fishing expedition as much as any player, but there was something about the characters in this game that put us off from the get-go. Their weird, over-friendly smiles came across as creepy more than anything, and we felt like they invited us along with some sinister ulterior motive like, say, a secret plan to drown us in the lake. The visuals are decent outside of that though, but a fishing slot shouldn’t really unintentionally come across as a horror slot.

The instant collect feature comes with a few extra Collect symbols, and especially the multiplier collector can make a dent on occasions. The jackpot pick game is probably your best shot when it comes to cracking the 5,000x potential, and the bonus round simply gives you a higher chance of triggering these features. We just couldn’t stomach hanging out with these people for longer than we had to, but hey, perhaps other players see things differently than us.
