At first glance it may look like nothing much has been changed from the original Jokrz Wild UltraNudge, but Jokrz Wild UltraNudge GigaBlox comes with a 6th reel and a lot more ways to win than the original game. You get 4,096 win ways in this follow-up, to be precise, and the fruit slot visuals are pretty much the same. The game still revolves around the Ultranudge feature, but with the added dynamic reels experience you get from Gigablox.

Symbols up to 4x4 in size can appear per spin, as the Gigablox feature is always active. The Ultranudge feature triggers from Joker wild wins, and you can also rack up a global win multiplier during this feature. It builds from up to x3 multiplier wilds, and things are taken up several notches in the bonus round. The multiplier only keeps building for one, and the Ultranudge triggers on every win (even without the Joker wild involved).

You can turn on the Bonus Boost feature between any base game spin, and keeping it on means that you pay 50 % extra per spin. The benefit is that you also double your free spins round chances if this ante bet feature is turned on.

The Gigablox feature triggers on each spin, and it merges reels to give you 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4 sized symbols. A gigablox symbol counts as a collection of 1x1 symbols.

The premium symbols pay between 1.5 and 5 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins, and there are 2 different Wild symbols in this game. They both step in for any pay symbol to help complete and/or improve wins, and the smiling Joker Wild triggers the Ultranudge feature when it’s part of a win. There is also the Multiplier Wild which comes with values of x1, x2, or x3, and the multiplier is added to the global win multiplier.

The Ultranudge feature triggers from Joker Wilds being part of a win, as already mentioned, and it makes all reels nudge one step down after the initial payout. This process repeats for as long as you keep winning, and the global multiplier you get from the multiplier wild does not reset as long as the Ultranudge feature lasts.

Everything resets once you hit a non-winning nudge though.

The Jokrz Free Spins Bonus triggers from 5+ diamond bonus scatters in view, and you get 5 free spins plus the total number of triggering scatters worth of free spins. This means that you get 10 free spins at minimum, and all wins trigger the Ultranudge feature in the bonus round. The win multiplier you get from multiplier wilds never resets for as long as the bonus round lasts, and you get +1 extra spin per scatter you land.

Non-UK players, and anyone eligible, can purchase the bonus round for 80x the stake, and there is also a Gamble feature you can choose before the bonus round starts. If you’re willing to risk the whole feature, you can gamble to double your starting win multiplier and the wild multipliers. This is a 50/50 bonus wheel gamble, and it can upgrade your wild multipliers of x2, x4, and x6.

Review Summary

The original Jokrz Wild UltraNudge was a charming fruit slot with a pretty solid potential to boot, and we don’t get why Bang Bang Games have decided to change that in this follow-up. You get the Gigablox feature in addition to everything else in Jokrz Wild UltraNudge GigaBlox, so why not at least keep the high potential from the first game. Being able to win up to 7,216x your stake is still decent, of course, but more features shouldn’t translate to a significantly lower max win in our humble opinion.

Both are volatile games after all, despite the fruity and easy-going facade. The Ultranudge feature, combined with the building of the win multiplier from landing multiplier wilds, is still entertaining and potentially lucrative, and not least in the bonus round when you get it on every win and the multiplier only keeps building.

If the potential was the same as before, we would prefer this follow-up, but it’s not quite as easy as that when you can win a lot more in the original game. Still, Jokrz Wild UltraNudge GigaBlox is a pretty fun game overall, and worth checking out on its own merits.
